These aren't the cutest nor the ugliest, and for the price, they're decent. They kinda look cheap, but I'm all about comfort at this point. And they are EXTREMELY comfortable. My complaint: They are at least a half size too BIG. As in, I wear exactly an 8.5 in most shoes, and these are fairly big. The ankle strap is VERY long as well - I have it on the tightest setting and I'm pretty big & tall. The extra strap hanging off the side looks ridiculous. Nevertheless, they do the trick. I like the convenience of how the strap fastens and the velvety bottom of the shoe, plus the padding. To me, it's kinda ugly, but it's a $30 dance shoe and nobody really notices anyway. Bottom line: Buy half a size smaller than usual, and you'll have a decent, cheap, yet comfortable salsa shoe.
