    FOOT MEASUREMENTS

    1.  Foot length:

    a) Place a piece of paper on the floor.

    b) Stand straight on the floor with your foot on the paper.

    c) Use a pencil, mark the longest toe and foot heel end, and measure the vertical distance between two points.

    d) For right foot and left foot measurements, we use the larger of the two numbers for the length of your foot.

Or draw the shape of the foot on the paper, and measure the vertical distance between the longest toe to foot heel.

    2.  Foot Width

    a) Place a paper on the floor.

    b) Stand straight on the floor with your foot on the paper.

    c) Put a mark on the paper at both ends of the ball of your feet.

    d) Measure the distance between the two marks on both sheets.

    e) Right Foot and Left Foot measurements, we use the larger of the two numbers as the length of your width.

Note: pencil and the paper must remain at an angle of 90°, as picture below:

    3.  Foot Circumference

    a) Find out the widest part at two sides of your foot(you can feel the bone here).

    b) Use a soft ruler to make a circle around the widest part of the whole foot.

    4.  Your US Street Size (Open/Close-toe)

We always advise our dancers to choose half-size smaller of their (Open Toe) dance shoes than their street shoes.

Finally, our shoes are made subject to the standard SHOE MOLDS. Our experienced worker would choose a shoe mold closest to the customer's foot measurements and size for shoe production.

It's easier to produce a pair of close-to-perfect-fit shoes if the customer's foot is closer to one of the standard shoe molds and vice versa. Therefore, producing a pair of perfect-fit shoes is not easy unless your feet are very close to one of our standard shoe molds.
